My mom painted the exterior of my childhood home when she was pregnant with me. Apparently, that’s why I have the birthmark that runs down the back of my neck. I didn’t have a single clue about it, not until someone pointed it out 13 years later. Is being an artist my true calling? I don’t know. Yet, I’d like to think of it as my ‘brushmark’.

Growing up, ​I dabbled here and there with whatever traditional medium I had and drew copies of my favorite characters as something to pass the time. I've always had an interest in art, but I didn't really put much emphasis of making it into a career. It wasn't until I started applying to colleges when I started to take it seriously. Since then, I've graduated with a Bachelors and ironically with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop as my go-to mediums. I create from the cute to the cool. Simple, yet eye-catching. Having my art printed on products or displayed virtually is what I hope to continue to achieve.
